Mapmaking 201: Advanced Mapping Skills in Legal Services

In the first mapmaking course, participants learned how to take data from LegalServer or external sources and plot out maps of addresses in ArcGIS as well as how to import pre-existing census data to provide data-rich visuals. In Mapmaking 201, participants will learn how to create their own layers from census data and how to use ‘shapefiles’ of New York City administrative boundaries to ‘make the case’ with their maps.
