The Intersection of Tax and Immigration Law for Immigration Practitioners
This training is designed to help immigration practitioners understand tax issues that may affect their cases, including a detailed discussion of filing status, dependency exemptions, refundable credits, common areas of fraud and error in immigrant tax returns and the relationship of tax returns and immigration reform. Part of the training will help immigration practitioners understand when their clients can claim retroactive tax credits.
