DVD - The CFPB's Mortgage Servicing Regulations: What Foreclosure Advocates Need to Know

No CLE Offered.  The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s long-awaited servicing regulations, amending Regulation X under the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act and Regulation Z under the Truth in Lending Act, have finally been promulgated, and will take effect on January 10, 2014. This training will provide an overview of the new regulatory landscape, highlighting both the positive aspects of the new regulations and where they come up short, and will alert practitioners to the contrasts between these new regulations and other relevant regulations, such as New York State’s mortgage servicing regulations.
